So tomorrow, I’m starting the Whole30. It will be an adventure in many ways, and so I’m thinking about blogging about my experience. I plan on updating every day or two, give an update on what I’ve been eating and how I’m feeling. Hopefully I won’t be too overwhelmed with life to keep up with it (as has happened with this blog :-)).
There are a couple of reasons I’m embarking on this journey. First, I have asthma and allergies. I don’t know if the Whole30 will solve my asthma, but it can’t hurt. I’m hoping to discover if any of the foods I eat cause some of my allergy issues (eczema) or if my other environmental allergies get any better. Secondly, I’m hoping to eat better, and break some bad habits. I wish I had the time to cycle as much as I used to. It’s been over two years since I’ve been on a bike. So the big thing for me will be cutting out all the junk I eat and hopefully ending my bad habit of snacking my day through work. lol.
